This is a taste of our coming album:"CARBON". We are very proud to present the new material,after spending many hours in studio recording this album. It has been a true joy working on this one,and the result stands out as powerful,variated and melodic.The album contains 11 tracks,and it will be out sometime in 2012. No labels or release-date is set. The album is recorded at Skyline Studio and Greedy Rodent Studio,mixed by Erik Marthinsen and Section Down (the final album-mix will sound a bit different). Welcome to our new website! It`s a brand new design,and you can now share articles from this page with your friends on facebook. To celebrate the beginning of a new and exiting year,we give you a bonus-video called "The Skiing Guitarist". The video is filmed by Erik Hansen and directed by Erik Flagstad. The character in the film (Rolf) is a passionate guitarplayer who plays his guitar no matter where he is,or whatever he does...which becomes quite obvious during the film:)
We received a lot of positive feedback on our Christmas-video,and therefor we wish to give you another taste of our humour.
This is just entertainment,and we hope you`ll like it!

We wish you all a happy new year! We would like to thank Skyline Studio,Sarepta Studio,Erik Hansen and Guma Studios for all their
effort and support fulfilling our projects in 2011,there`s more to do in 2012 and we look forward to work with you again!
Next year we`ll give you more videoes,concerts and of course our massive hot second album!!!

New video for Christmas

"One For Christmas" is now released on youtube! This video is our way of celebrating the true meaning of Christmas,to appreciate every minute we spend with the ones we love. In this video you get to see a different side of Section Down,and we hope you enjoy it,and get the humour... We had a laugh making this video,though the lyrics of the song has a more serious message;to remind us of those who`s not so fortunate,the people who doesn`t have a family or friends to share Christmas together with. "One For Christmas",is our gift to you! Thank you for following us,and merry Christmas to all:)

"One For Christmas"

We made a little bonus this year,and it`s a Christmas-video which will be out on youtube the 26th of November! The song is called "One For Christmas",and it`s something quite different from what we`ve done earlier:) The video is filmed by Erik Hansen,and we really had a great time! We hope you`ll enjoy it!

Finishing the album.

We are now about to finish the recording of our second album! We think it really starts to sound good...No release-date is set,but it will be out in 2012. We are also about to start the shooting of our next video,and it will be released together with the album. We have a few projects going on these days,and we are really exited to see the outcome of them all.

Again,we would also like to thank everyone for watching "Slow" and "Bystand",keep spreading the view!

Have a nice summer!

During summer we`ll be sending out hundreds of letters to recordlabels and managements in Norway and Europe. We`ll be working on our album,and it will be finished by fall. Meanwhile,watch our videos on YOUTUBE! Have a nice summer!!!

We`re planning to shoot our third video by the end of summer,and it will be produced by Guma Studios. They have produced three videos for us earlier,and we`re really looking forward to work with them again!

BYSTAND

Six o`clock (cet. ) this evening,we proudly present our new video called "Bystand"! This video speaks pretty much for it self,so we don`t think there's any reason to explain the message...just mind the people around you... Concert/Videorelease!

We will do a releaseconcert for our next video:BYSTAND,at Hydranten (Hamar) Saturday the 4th of June. It will also be released on net! Haugerom will be our support for the evening,and they`ll be on stage at 10 o`clock. It`s gonna be a big night for us,hope to see you!
